Parkford’s two well-stocked private fishing lakes are very popular with
both the experienced angler and those who want to have fun learning.
Specimen fish include 30lb + Carp, 7lb + Tench, good size Roach, Perch
and Bream. When you stay with us in one of our holiday cottages or in the luxury accommodation of Park Hall, fishing is complimentary for the whole
family.
For the complete novice we can arrange a fishing session with one of our
water bailiffs who will provide equipment for you to use and will be on
hand to assist and guide you. For the more experienced angler you can
enjoy a day’s fishing in beautiful surroundings. You must bring a valid
fishing rod licence with you and your own tackle with barbless hooks,
landing nets and unhooking mats.
